the coupon “applies” (no error message) but the check-out price stays the same = not working for *renewals*
Just tested and it works fine on renewals.
As a customer actively comparing domain coupon deals, I’ve noticed that Truehost hasn’t been featured on this list. That’s a bit limiting from a consumer standpoint.
Most comparison pages focus heavily on first-year promotional pricing, but many of us care just as much about renewal rates. In my experience, Truehost offers very competitive introductory coupons and lower long-term renewal pricing compared to several providers typically highlighted here.
For users trying to minimise total cost of ownership over multiple years, not just the first year, including them in your listings would provide a more complete and transparent comparison.
It would be great to see them reviewed and considered alongside other domain registrars featured here.
